Many of my posts, and I would argue my most popular posts, integrate business casual looks. This is mostly indicative of how people dress nowadays. For the better part of a decade, men have been solidifying their wardrobes by investing in dress shoes, slim suiting, etc. Eventually, streetwear crept into the mainstream, and now menswear bears a sampling of these two ideals.
Today’s look would have looked right-as-rain with a sport jacket. The slim sweatshirt layer from Uniqlo however urbanizes the classic gingham and chino combo. Camo has boomed in streetwear, especially towards the end of the 2000s. The fatigue tie courtesy of LVJ Haberdasher definitely adds a shot of color which pairs back to the bottom. The crewneck sweatshirt makes the bold print a bit more subtle with just a small pop poking through. Likewise the contrasting sole on the Cole Haan wingtips add interest without being too garish.
