Mixing Japanese ingenuity into the designs of affordable basics is the calling card of Uniqlo. But overlooked is the myriad of colors the retailer creates in a multitude of styles. For their #givecolor campaign, Uniqlo is asking their fans to create color boards exemplifying their rainbow-esque palette, with a few lucky fans receiving a giftcard. For today’s look, I brought in a monochrome, layered work, featuring the lambswool V-neck from Uniqlo. Forest green is my favorite color of the season, and the mix of different shades and patterns breaks up the verdant combo.
